Sunday Morning: Delta Beta Sigma

Today's blog post is going to be very short and straight to the point. I wanted to just throw an explanation out there about DBS. I've mentioned it before and will most likely mention it again.

Delta Beta Sigma is a social sorority in high school. I know that sounds weird to some people, I get it. But please don't be so quick to judge. The DBS website states "The important goals of the sorority are to develop character and strive for good citizenship." And this can not be more true. It's not like the stereotypical party every night, get drunk kind of thing. We try to help our community as much as possible. We do tons of charity, fundraising, and volunteer work every year. This year, our charity of choice is the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. We try to bond as sisters.

This is my first year in DBS. I actually just became an official member a few weeks ago. I can honestly say that our chapter, is amazing. I know I can turn to any of these girls for anything. We have a good family here and it is such a blessing to be apart of it.

But yeah I kind of wanted to throw a little disclaimer out because you will probably see the words "Delta Beta Sigma" in future blog posts. Well anyways, I hope you enjoyed today's blog and come back tomorrow for Music Monday! Have a lovely day!!

"Sisters are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly."
