Starting freshman year, I was shocked to hear all the stories of girls around me partying, having sex, and drinking. From the minute I heard the first gossip, I knew I absolutely did not want to be one of those girls. I've come up with some guidelines on how to keep yourself on the right track:
- Be classy. Just look at Audrey Hepburn!
- You do not have to be at every single party that happens every single weekend.
- If you're under 21, drinking is illegal sooo there's that.
- There are ways to have fun at parties while sober and not hooking up with a stranger. Find those ways.
These are just some things to remember the next time you get invited to the next big party at the cabin. Those guidelines pretty much sum this part up. Now, lets talk about those Stupid Girls.
Ohhhh lord, as I said in the intro, we all know these type of girls. Honey, if you find yourself wearing a dress that barely covers you butt and barely holds your boobs inside, you're doing something wrong. Before I started typing this post, I was asking myself "why do these girls do what they do or wear what they wear?" And then it dawned on me. Attention. These girl crave it like crack. The most important thing that I can not stress enough is that you do not have to wear napkins for clothes to find Mr. Right. I think that is what these girls want deep inside them. If they want to find this ideal, perfect, type of guy who will treat them like a queen, why do they do these things? Dressing like a slut is not going to attract Prince Charming. It's going to attract men who only want that one thing and they don't even think twice about leaving you broken hearted on the street. Guys also do not want a girl who falls all over them because they are drunk. I'm pretty sure every guy, deep down, wants a girl they have to fight for. Not one who is easy. That is yet another flaw Stupid Girls have. They get desperate.
Preventing yourself from becoming a Stupid Girl or trying to change is easy. You just have to want it. I recommend that EVERY high school female should read Jordan Christy's How To Be a Hepburn In a Hilton World. It will change not just your perspective, but your entire life. I will most likely be referencing this book a ton because its like my guide to life book.
This is my first Real World Thursday entry so I hope you enjoyed it! Come back tomorrow for Fitness Friday!!!! :)
